There's always been something inside me that wanted to tell other people what's going on in their world.

I've always said every newscast I've ever done started with the words, "Hey, you know what?"  I just didn't say 'em out loud.  But that's always been my focus, the friend sitting across the table sipping their coffee, while taking a minute to get caught up.  And that minute's a valuable one to them, so I try to make it count... with tight writing, use of sound, and when it's called for, a little smile.

I've won awards for my spot news coverage (Big WAYS/Charlotte), feature series (KFAB/Omaha), and most recently, Best Newscast from the Georgia Associated Press (WDUN/Atlanta).

These days, I anchor morning news for affiliates in Greenville, Augusta and Columbus, as well as morning sports on the Georgia News Network.
